Thus, it is relevant to encourage infrequent consumption of sugary foods so that teeth have a chance to last longer and healthier.
When teeth are not clean, another factor that affects the risk of cavities is food sticking to teeth when individuals do not brush their teeth on a regular basis. Some foods or sweets may stick to the teeth and thus reduce the levels of pH in the mouth for a longer period of time. This will lead to cavities and the main cause is sugar contained in foods and sweets. Cleaning is relevant and makes a huge difference. Thus, it is important that teeth are cleaned at least twice daily, preferably with a toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste to remove any food or sugar that is stuck.
